Role: Desktop Support Engineer
Work model: 100% on-site at the NY office, in Midtown Manhattan
Schedule: Monday to Friday.
The working shift will be defined during the selection process and may be:
– 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
– 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Occasionally, weekend or holiday work may be required. However, this is agreed upon in advance and is very infrequent.
The client will provide a laptop.
Contract duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Languages: Fluent English is required; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus

We are looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced financial services environment. This is not a role for someone waiting for tickets to come in — we want a proactive professional, curious to learn, eager to solve problems, and energized to support people on-site.
This opportunity is perfect for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys being close to end users, keeping the office organized, and taking ownership of both technical and practical IT tasks.
What you’ll do
Provide on-site support for end users (hardware, software, network, devices).
Administer and manage Active Directory (users, groups, computers).
Manage Office 365 (user accounts, groups, license assignments).
Perform basic Microsoft Intune tasks (device management, user/group administration).
Take care of asset management (laptops, monitors, cables, accessories).
Keep the office organized: moving monitors/computers, setting up desks, checking cabling, and ensuring everything works smoothly.
Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and ensure users have the best support experience.
Must-have skills
3–5 years of IT support experience.
Experience with Active Directory (users, groups, computers).
Experience with Office 365 (licenses, users, groups).
Exposure to Microsoft Intune (at least basic user/device management).
Hands-on profile: comfortable troubleshooting, organizing equipment, moving devices, plugging cables, etc.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Nice to have
Experience in a financial services environment.
Familiarity with asset management tools.
Knowledge of video conferencing and collaboration tools.
