Role overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer to design, build, and optimize engaging digital portals, partner sites, and customer self-service communities.

In this role, you will be the technical lead for custom Experience Cloud implementations, leveraging Lightning Web Components (LWC), custom themes, Experience Builder, Apex backend services, and complex security sharing models. The ideal candidate blends deep programmatic Salesforce expertise with strong front-end UI design principles to build fast, responsive, and secure pixel-perfect portal applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance customer, partner, and employee portals using Experience Builder, LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) / Aura templates, and custom theme layouts.
• Design and deploy modern Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/SLDS (Salesforce Lightning Design System) to deliver pixel-perfect user interfaces tailored to brand standards.
• Write clean, modular Apex code (Controllers, Triggers, Batch/Async Apex) and develop custom REST/SOAP APIs to integrate Experience Cloud seamlessly with external third-party systems, payment gateways, and backend databases.
• Configure and maintain external security models, including External User Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Sets, Share Groups, Account Relationship Data Sharing (ARDS), and Guest User Security policies.
• Optimize portal page-load times, resource caching, LWR site performance, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) settings for public-facing communities.
• Manage source control (Git), deployment pipelines, and metadata migrations across Sandbox and Production environments using tools like SFDX, Copado, or Jenkins.

Required skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated explicitly to Experience Cloud (Community Cloud).
• Advanced proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SLDS.
• Expert-level mastery of Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and asynchronous processing.
• Hands-on experience with Experience Builder, LWR templates, and custom digital asset management inside Salesforce.
• Deep functional understanding of external user licensing (Customer Community, Partner Community, External Apps) and external sharing architecture.
• Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data payloads inside portal environments.

Preferred certifications:

• Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant (Strongly Preferred)
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
• Experience with Headless Architecture or Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) for high-speed public sites.
• Exposure to Salesforce CMS (Content Management System) and Google Analytics/GTM integration.
