Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Functional

Consultant with a strong background in SAP Materials Management (MM), Warehouse

Management (WM), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) modules, coupled with

a deep understanding of transportation processes. The successful candidate will be

responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, configuring, and implementing

robust SAP solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. This role

requires hands-on experience with SAP configuration, a solid grasp of integration via REST

APIs, and strong ABAP debugging skills to support development and troubleshoot complex

issues within our logistics and supply chain landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis & Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to

gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to SAP MM, WM,

EWM, and transportation processes. Translate these requirements into functional

specifications and comprehensive solution designs.

• SAP Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration in SAP MM (e.g., purchasing,

inventory management, master data), WM (e.g., putaway, picking, stock transfers),

and EWM (e.g., inbound/outbound processing, internal warehouse movements,

physical inventory) modules, as well as relevant transportation functionalities.

• Integration Management: Design and specify integration points between SAP and

other internal/external systems, with a strong focus on leveraging and

troubleshooting integrations via REST APIs. Work closely with technical teams to

ensure successful implementation of integration solutions.

• ABAP Debugging & Support: Utilize ABAP debugging skills to analyze and resolve

complex functional issues, support custom developments, and assist technical

teams during development and testing phases.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Support various testing phases, including unit

testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing,

ensuring that configured solutions meet business requirements and quality

standards.

• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed functional specifications,

configuration documents, process flows, and user training materials.

• Project Support: Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from blueprinting

to go-live and post-implementation support, ensuring timely and successful

delivery of SAP solutions.

• Training & User Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users,

ensuring effective adoption and utilization of SAP functionalities.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process

optimization and system enhancements within the SAP logistics and transportation

areas.

• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business

users, technical developers, project managers, and other consultants.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain

Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, with a

significant focus on SAP MM, WM, and EWM modules.

• Proven hands-on experience with SAP configuration and implementation in MM,

WM, and EWM.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with transportation processes,

including freight management, logistics planning, carrier integration.

• Demonstrated experience with system integration concepts and practical

experience integrating SAP with other systems, particularly via REST APIs.

• Strong ABAP debugging skills are essential for troubleshooting and supporting

custom developments.

• In-depth knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project

methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Experience with project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps,

Jira).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to

articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global

environment.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with S/4HANA logistics modules, including S/4HANA MM, WM (or Stock

Room Management), and EWM, and especially S/4HANA TM.

• Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI/CO) and their integration points

with logistics.

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for change management and

testing.

• Certification in SAP MM/WM/EWM, or relevant consulting certifications.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable

solutions.
