Role overview:
- We are seeking an experienced, hands-on QA Automation Manager with deep expertise in Tricentis Tosca to lead and scale our automated testing initiatives.
- In this role, you will be responsible for defining the automation test strategy, establishing best-practice testing frameworks, and leading a team of QA engineers to drive test automation coverage across critical business applications (e.g., e-commerce platforms, ERP, CRM, and supply chain modules).
- The ideal candidate combines strong technical mastery of Tosca with proven test management and delivery capabilities in fast-paced retail or digital commerce environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Define, execute, and mature the automated testing roadmap using Tricentis Tosca across enterprise web, mobile, API, and backend applications.
- Standardize Tosca project structures, re-usable modules, test data management (TDM), and API test suites to maximize test reusability and maintainability.
- Lead, guide, and mentor QA automation engineers on Tosca best practices, test case design, and model-based test automation principles.
- Integrate Tosca test suites into modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) and configure automated test execution via Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX).
- Establish robust test data management strategies inside Tosca to support continuous, non-destructive automated testing.
- Establish QA KPI dashboards (automation coverage, pass/fail rates, execution trends, defect density) and communicate regular progress updates to project sponsors and engineering leadership.
- Partner closely with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to align testing priorities with upcoming digital/e-commerce feature releases.
Required skills:
- Min 10+ years in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with 3+ years in a QA Manager, Lead, or Architect role.
- Proven track record of architecting and managing enterprise-level automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Tricentis Tosca certifications (e.g., Automation Specialist 1 & 2, Automation Architect, or Test Design Specialist) are highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience executing Tosca automated tests via Tosca DEX (Distributed Execution) within CI/CD toolchains (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of testing Web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, mobile apps, and enterprise backend systems (ERP/CRM).
- Strong track record of leading QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments, managing deliverables, and enforcing quality gates under tight deadlines.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with retail, e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, SAP Commerce), or supply chain integrations.
- Knowledge of complementary automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman).
- Experience with defect and test management systems like Jira/Xray or Azure DevOps.
